3. Tucson Gem Show Finds: unexpected Crystal Combos
First video from my Tucson journey – nice surprises – unusual Selenite structure, with a gnarly Celestite crystal beneath it; an Amethyst Flower growning over withered Anhydrite (Angelite) crystals; and a sweet Calcite that has a Herkimer Diamond hitching a ride underneath. So nice to be back, it’s been 3 years! I’ll be selling (booth #112 at Pueblo) this year, this was from my honeymoon “days off” period.

3. Tucson Show Prep #3: packing up and letting go
Like I say in the video – I don’t wanna minimize the real thing – but I got a taste of postpartum depression when the UPS truck drove away with my 2 pallets. They were only delivered Friday – I constructed them, selected & packed up the 80 square feet of crate(s) – and locked them up for pick up Wednesday. After 5 days of focused intention – to bring my best material to Tucson (Pueblo show #214) – all of a sudden everything was gone, to sit in warehouses, and rumble along untold highways till I see them again their, in a week.

Although I’ve moved my Crystal Energy Phone App massively forward – and I’m planning on its release THIS month – ALL my focus this week is on getting my pallets ready for shipment to Tucson, because that is a very hard deadline!
1. Initial prep for the journey to Tucson this month
Preparing my palettes for my pallets! How do you like that play on words? I am trying out having my own pallets (the crate for transportation) AND I have MUCH to do in terms of using my palette (the color board and ultimately the canvas) to lay out my A-game jewelry for the most competitive Gem & Mineral event on the planet! I’ll be at the Pueblo Gem show Jan/Feb 2023.

Another incredible exhibit – I snapped over a dozen – at the Natural History Museum in New York City. This one really shows you – with a stunning variety of types – where gems come from, side by side, with their source material. WOW!
